I do not believe Bill 66, gives the municipalities too much decision making power over environmentally sensitive land. And does not allow for public comment - democracy!

This proposal takes away legislation that protects our natural and cultural environments. It does not take into account the impact on the planning profession who carry out studies in support of the legislation. Further, it does not acknowledge Indigenous community rights.
