The proposed changes are regressive, not thoughtful, and will do the opposite of the intended goals. None of the proposals should be adopted. Instead, to reach the intended goals: Ban parking minimums in Ontario; let the market decide how much parking is required. Lire davantage

My comments relate to the Places to Grow Act - section 2.2.8.3.m)ii., within the Greenbelt Area, a settlement area expansion would be permitted, through a municipal comprehensive review, to a maximum of 10 hectares ( only 50% allowed for residential). Lire davantage

we have to protect trees, nature, land in a old growth type state if possible. Development hurts children and future generations and presently our relationship with nature that feeds us, clothes us, gives us shelter and oxygen and gives us medicines and everything we need to live properly.

The amendments have removed all mention of the goal of "net-zero" development. Is there a reason for this? Replacing "net-zero" with the term "environmentally sustainable" is painfully broad. You will need to define what "environmentally sustainable" means.
