As a property owner in the Amalguin highlands area I am concerned about the logging that is currently underway in the area. We see increased heavy truck access, which leads to poorer air quality and speeds up the deterioration of our, already, poor quality of road and highway networks. Lire davantage

How about a use or loose policy on harvesting rights.how a certain company can hold multiple licenses in our area , but only run 2 out of 5 facilities, is wrong.if the facility is not running.... then the license for that facility should be on hold . Lire davantage

Bring back the responsibility for forest compliance to the government. Industry is not doing a very good job of self compliance. At the very least do a better job of compliance auditing.

As a resident of northwest Ontario It is becoming harder and harder to find anywhere to cut my allotted 3 cords for personal use. Driving miles to cut garbage wood off a slash pile is not what I will do. Standing dead on crown land should be available to the locals to heat our homes.
