The use of Minister's Zoning Orders has gotten out of hand. The backlash from the Duffins Creek Wetland debacle is evidence that these orders are being abused. Our representatives in the Ontario government should work to protect individual Ontarians, not corporate lobbyists.

I strongly oppose the proposed changes to Minister's Zoning Orders and the Planning Act. Such changes would allow the Minister to make unilateral decisions without public consultation.
In an era of heightened awareness of health and its connection to environmental exploitation, I am incredibly disappointed that protections are being so cavalierly sidestepped.
