I fully understand the importance of ensuring the protection of the environment during emergency and possibly strikes. However, should the best people not be the ones who do the job instead of someone who may know the process but not the ins and outs of the facility. Lire davantage

Makes sense to have the ability to bring in knowledgeable people that previously held licences in an emergency situation.

I would think just by making water/wastewater employees "essential workers" you could avoid much of this proposal. Fire/ EMS/Police all have a responsibility to the public. Water /Wastewater owners/employees have responsibilities not only to the public but also greatly to the environment.

I would object to having unlicensed operators running facilities. More than 50percent of all operators are currently OIT’s. Sad the Goverment overlooks their responsibility to supply trained certified staff. Water and wastewater treatment is critical to public health. Time to change! Lire davantage
