Just stop hunting bears altogether. Why perpetrate murder? Evil hunters killing mama bears and leaving cubs motherless. You are no better than ISIS with your continual slaughtering of bears.

While I don’t object to managed hunting, the wilderness of Ontario is also used by many who prefer not to cause damage. The bears are not dangerous, but placing baits where hiking, and recreating near where bear hunting happens is dangerous. Read more

I am in strong favor of the proposed reduction of bait distances from 200m from right of ways and recreational trails. The current 200m restriction is dangerous for the hunter, and does not reduce human / bear contact. Read more
