As Rondeau cottage owners for 40 years, we very much support the continuation of cottage leaseholds in Rondeau Provincial Park. If a 3 year extension is required to arrive at a solution, then we should go ahead.

A 3 year renewal should be automatic. There is no need for signatures or any other administrative work. And permanent solution is the only one that makes sense. Let's get this settled now and move on to more important issues.
I fully support the continuation of the Rondeau cottage community. What a terrible shame it would be to lose this unique community. I am currently a leaseholder and have spent many summers of my lifetime at Rondeau. Sailing, windsurfing, fishing, kiteboarding, the Rondeau Yacht club, biking etc..

I strongly recommend that cottages be removed from Rondeau Provincial Park and that the government of Ontario initiate a program to phase out cottages similar to the successful removal program at nearby Point Pelee National Park.
I support the three year lease extension and that it be automatically granted to all current lease holders.
This extension time should be used to create a permanent resolution that will allow the cottage community to permanently remain.
Cottages are an integral part of Rondeau Provincial Park. Absolutely the lease should be extended for the three years. This time should be used to draw up plans for a long term lease. (minimum 50 years).
