Buying bottled water is paying for someone to produce plastic bottles that take 450 years to decompose. Considering plastic is choking sea life, and has created a garbage patch in the ocean, doesn’t it make more sense to stop the problem where it starts.

In fact, I demand that it be made permanent. Allowing large multinationals to take advantage of our natural resources like this must stop.

We need to examine our Ontario water needs for the long term before selling our water for corporate exploitation. We have been selling our birthright for ridiculously low price with no thought of the future. STOP!!!

I am in full support of the extension and would even say that it should be for a longer time period. We should not be selling the water so cheaply and allowing the companies to make such extreme profits. Bottled water should be cut back.
