I believe that Ontario Regulation 463/16 should be extended indefinitely. But at the minimum for another 9 months. And then should be reviewed again.

I believe water-bottling permits should not be extended and prices should be raised much higher than current before a continuation of any permits is granted.

$500 per million liters.
Ontario bring "open for business" does not mean allowing multinational corporations to resell our resources for next to nothing.

I agree with the moratorium. Our water is a valuable commodity that we are currently giving away for far, far less than its' market value. Companies wanting to exploit it should pay a high premium for it as they are competing with the local residents for use of this important resource!
I feel that water bottling companies are exploiting our natural resources and not compensating us fairly.
Water bottling companies should pay a much higher rate for the precious groundwater that they extract and seek back to us.
Natural Resources should be preserved for the current and future generations of this planet and are not to be sold to private corporations for the exploitation of said generations. Do the right thing, refuse to renew water extraction contracts. Preserve our planet.
Please continue this moratorium for 2 reasons. First, to get a full some understanding of the impact of this activity. It takes time to properly assess the impact and we need as much due diligence to ensure we aren’t creating a host of other issues.

I feel private corporations should be paying more than their fair share for our natural resources. Bottled water creates so much unnecessary waste and it seems that with the amount of profit Nestle makes they should be addressing a major ecological issue they were paramount in creating.

Companies like Nestle have been exploiting our natural resources with no cost for far too long. With the ever increasing threat of climate change, the value of our natural water resources grows every year. If these companies still want to reap the profits.

Ontario should lead the change to prevent single plastic usage. Prevent companies from taking water to produce a product that makes them billions of dollars.
They can completely take over a natural resource in an area for a measly fee, which is practically free to a large corporation, and make billions of profit. To say nothing of the contribution to plastic pollution that is beyond alarming at this point.

Hello,
Please do not allow Ontario’s water to continue to be sold back to us at ridiculous prices, while also contributing heavily to single use plastic generation. We have excellent municipal water systems, by and large, and bottled water is unnecessary.
Enough is enough.
Cities across the province have created some of the worlds best water treatment facilities, and there needs to be a push to have these facilities used to their fullest.
