There is no debate about climate change: we know we need to ac now, act fast and act big. Carbon pricing is an essential (albeit not sufficient) tool to address the very real threat of climate change. By creating incentives to reduce GHG emissions, carbon pricing works.

Do not cancel or back out of cap and trade. It will only help Ontario's economy and environment in the long run. As a voter I was very disappointed in the government's decision to cancel cap and trade.
Ontario needs to do everything in its power, including suffering the temporary pain of raised electricity rates, to transition to an entirely green and renewable generation grid.

I think completing cancelling the cap and trade program is an extremely bad idea. We are suppose to be looking out for the future generations by protecting the environment which includes reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This action is completely backwards from today's realities!!!!
Cap & Trade was a huge step forward for environmental protection and was the most realistic option for doing so without harming the economy. Repealing this bill is a terrible idea.
