Please do NOT repeal the Green Energy Act. There are so many things we NEED to be focused on. Cutting back on cleaner and more sustainable energy solutions is NOT one of them. Why would we go backwards over 20 years and why would we spend any resources to end something we desperately need.

It's really important to have laws in place that protect the environment. In the fight against climate change, things like the green energy act are vital steps towards a brighter, greener future. Let's not start taking steps backwards.
Before you go and thrash a decent piece of legislation that has been shown to work and has been researched and helped garner a Nobel prize for economics, please show us the replacement plan. We need the money from cap and trade to help people mitigate for climate change.

I most definitely agree that the Green Energy Act should be repealed. I have been actively advocating the repeal of this Act since 2010 when we first read that wind energy companies were planning to construct industrial wind turbines near our home.

Many Ontarians value the current policy. The changes are not in line our values.
Why are you doing this? To turn the clock back to the industrial age, or even as recently as the 1990s when our air was so putrid in the summer you couldn't step outside? A return to brown outs, and rolling blackouts? To save a household $150/yr?
