Please do NOT repeal the Green Energy Act. There are so many things we NEED to be focused on. Cutting back on cleaner and more sustainable energy solutions is NOT one of them. Why would we go backwards over 20 years and why would we spend any resources to end something we desperately need. Read more

Before you go and thrash a decent piece of legislation that has been shown to work and has been researched and helped garner a Nobel prize for economics, please show us the replacement plan. We need the money from cap and trade to help people mitigate for climate change. Read more

I most definitely agree that the Green Energy Act should be repealed. I have been actively advocating the repeal of this Act since 2010 when we first read that wind energy companies were planning to construct industrial wind turbines near our home. Read more

Repealing the Green Energy Act will increase our dependence on non-renewable energy, create barriers to innovation, and destroy an industry that Ontarians will nonetheless continue to pay for through our energy bills for years to come. This is a short-sighted and dangerous decision. Read more

I strongly oppose the Repeal of the Green Energy ACT. This was put in place to combat the dire consequences of global warming. Repealing this act is a set back at a time that this country and planet need concerted efforts to take action against a major environmental challenge. Read more

It is more important than ever to widely support and implement green energy production, infrastructure and use in Ontario in order to keep the climate from warming and creating extreme weather events and massive destruction. We owe this to our children and future generations. Read more
