It is ineffective to take our province backward in time almost two decades without a proper plan in place. If we think that a current plan/legislation is ineffective we need to come up with a better system first rather than just reverting back to what was done before decades ago. Read more

The green energy act should not be repealed. It contributes to preserving and defending our environment which I hope will be around for my kids and their kids. We are selfish not to use our knowledge to prevent further damage to the air we breath and water we drink. Read more

We are taking major steps back! We should be promoting eco/energy friendly projects to reduce climate change. I am very disappointed in the current’s government’s decision to scrap programs to save money in the short term. It’s short sighted way of thinking at things.

The current Conservation and Demand Management (CDM) programs offered by the IESO's Save on Energy program for both residential and businesses have proven to be very cost-effective in energy savings. The programs have created jobs, helped with employment and economic in the Province of Ontario. Read more

In general terms I am opposed to the proposed changes. The repeal of the Green Energy Act sets the direction to go backwards in terms of energy policy compared to almost all world jurisdictions while at the same time faced with effects of climate change. Read more
