Climate Change is real. Just look at what is happening in the USA with flooding and storm surges from hurricanes and with the wildfires from the drought conditions. We have to stop using the fuels that create and then speed up global warming. Read more

I am enthusiastic about wind turbine projects. It's unconscionable to be closing any of them down. By definition, if you are closing down such a project, you are hurting the environment. We need more renewable power generation, and will continue to need more for decades.

Your government's refusal to act on climate change is akin to an attack on the planet! A climate change denier is anyone not engaged in a program to reduce emissions or advance, the green energy alternatives to carbon producing uses. Read more

To shut down a wind generation project in the middle of construction is insanity. Not to mention it is a giant backstep on our way to lessen the impact of climate change. We cannot continue to act as if climate change is not happening. Greg

Seriously? I cannot believe that this issue is even being considered. This project has been underway for 10 years and the whim of an uneducated and ill informed wannabe despot can shut it down? We must respond to the climate crisis. It's not about having bad weather. Read more

Closing a project near completion, for the direct purpose of saving money, is a nonsensical act that does nothing to better the lives of Ontario citizens or economic prosperity of Ontario's businesses. Read more

In light of the need to mitigate the effects of climate change on our economy, biological needs, and social stability, we must support renewable energy projects such as the White Pines Wind Project. I strongly urge that you find a way to do so. Read more

There is nothing that worries me more about the future of my children than the environment. Please do everything you can to address global warming. Saving the White Pines Wind Project would be an essential step in this direction.

This is wrong. You are closing down a renewable energy project based on an emotional decision. It's a waste of taxpayer dollars. Renewable energy is the only future for energy creation and use in Ontario and the rest of the world. Don't be an embarrassment on the global stage. Read more

What is tp be gained by cancelling an almost completed wind energy project? Wind energy is the cheapest new source of generation. With Pickering nuclear closure beginning in 2022, Ontario needs new generation to fill this void. Cancelling wind projects is short sighted. Read more

Save the White Pines Wind Project. It's needed for a promising future for our province. The project is almost done. Why waste even more money by ripping up wind mills? What alternative are you offering for green energy in Ontario?
