The Drive Clean test should not be cancelled for Light duty vehicles because it is for the consumers' protection on resale cars. If a car has an error code it can be cleared by the seller and the buyer would not know that there was a problem.

This is a fantastic idea I have shelled out hundreds of dollars in charges to mechanics not because my vehicle couldn't meet emissions but because the check engine light was on. this program needs to go
Move the entire HDV emissions inspections test to MTO National Safety Code 11B carrier annual safety inspections. Garages across the province are already certified to inspection for emission control equipment as part of the MTO CVOR program.

I don't believe it is fair that facilities should have to pay the maintenance charges up to the end date.
We deserve some consideration for the equipment expenses.
This is nothing short of a travesty.
1500 facilities did what they were asked to do and get screwed in the end.
Heavy duty should be tested along with safety 11b inspections. One stop shopping. In depth inspection including temperatures and pressures along with visual inspection done by mechanics with drive clean certification.
