I feel that the low price companies like Nestles pay for water,which is a natural resource, is far to low.Our water is being sold in foreign countries, like USA for far to low a price ,when these countries charge Canadians very high prices for common items we need. Read more

I live in Centre Wellington, Ontario and our town is growing at an incredible rate. Our water demands will only be increasing in the coming decades. The well that Nestle bought out from under our town should be water for the people of this community. Read more

It is wise to extend the moratorium in order to further assess the situation of removing water for bottling. I personally do not support removal of water for any purpose which generates income, be that for an individual, group, company, or otherwise. Read more

I heartily agree with the extension of the moratorium on issuing water permits for bottling companies. In fact, I would like to see the moratorium become a complete refusal to issue new permits or renewals for those requests already submitted and for any future requests. Read more

Water is life. If we commodify it, & especially if we allow private interests to control it, we will lose everything. No person or body, including the government, has the right to deprive us of our water, any more than of the air we breathe. Read more
