I wholeheartedly support extending the moratorium and would like to see it extended permanently. Our kids' & grandkids' future demands careful public stewardship of this fundamental resource, free from reckless pursuit of private profit. Read more

I do not support water bottling companies taking from ground water to turn into bottled water especially if those bottles are made of plastic - it’s wasteful in terms of the energy spent in their facilities + the trucks sent to deliver them, as well as the bottles themselves if they are plastic. I see no need to allow commercial companies to take our ground water and sell it back to us for profit. I already pay for the water I use in my hometown through my municipality. Why would I allow a company to sell it to me? It's the same water I can get at my tap. Read more
