Completely disagree with this Bill. These regulations were put in place for a reason: protecting the people. It would not only remove protection from toxic chemicals for Ontario residents but threaten our drinking water supply. Read more

This entire Bill is atrocious. It puts people's health at risk, decreases protection for workers, and puts the environment and our drinking water at risk. I am appalled that the Conservative Government would even develop this Bill. This is undemocratic.

This bill must not pass. It is unwieldly and ill conceived. It does not present clear benefits to the majority of Ontario residents and seems to be targeted (where it makes sense at all) to special interests. It defies reason and logic and must not pass.

Your proposal to scrap important environmental, health and safety regulations is not "for the people" - it is purely for profit driven business. Putting short term gain ahead of protection of our land, water and children is simply appalling. Shame on you Premier Ford. Shame on your minions.

I absolutely, whole heartedly cannot support this bill or the representatives endorsing it. I have lived in Ontario all my life and have property in Haliburton. It's a paradise because of the nature. Somehow, some people, think you have to compromise our ecosystems for making money. Read more

This bill is an absolute disgrace, and you should all be ashamed of yourselves. Deregulation on this scale without any consultation with those directly involved or affected reeks of greed and corruption. I will never ever vote conservative again, at any level of government.

Didn't Doug Ford backtrack on developing the Greenbelt after public outcry? Why is he changing his stance now and going against what he said? Ontario NEEDS THE GREENBELT. We do not need any more reckless demolition of valuable fertile fields, ecosystems and otherwise natural areas. Read more

I am extremely disturbed by the proposed changes to the Planning Act that would allow municipalities to pass "open for business" zoning by-laws. If I am reading this correctly, these areas would not be bound by the part of the greenbelt act on protecting the integrity of the greenbelt? Read more

Elements of this bill take Ontario in a regressive direction, in terms of both safety and environmental standards. Attempts at bolstering short term economic growth by sacrificing the well being of citizens and natural resources is unacceptable and deleterious.

This ignorant proposal sets Ontario back decades alongside and lets Ontarians down. It's bad for our health, our resources, our families and our communites. Ignorance on this level needs to be stopped. Ontarians need to get their voices heard, we do not support this.
