The regulations must remain mandatory as they provide critical enforcement. The regulatory expenses for corporations are a small price of having the privilege of being able to operate in Ontario while keeping environmental regulations a priority for all. Therefore, I strongly oppose the proposal.

I am absolutely is support of all industry, especially fuel providers, being required to report greenhouse gas emissions resulting from the consumption of consumable or disposable products those businesses supply to the marketplace. Read more

Please stop dismantling the environmental polices in Ontario. We have already been forced to abandon the Cap and Trade system which was much better than a carbon tax and now you are proposing cutting emission reporting requirements. Read more

This is OUTRAGEOUS! Sticking your head in the sand won't make climate change go away. Parents such as myself are getting increasingly desperate to reduce fossil fuel consumption in Ontario -- if you won't even record how much gas we are burning... what can a desperate father do? Read more

Environmental crisis is not only immanent it is upon us. Scientific study after scientific study confirms that we must act urgently as a collective. The province of Ontario needs to cooperate with the federal initiative to track green house gas emissions and support a price on carbon. Read more

Emissions reporting is integral if we are serious about tackling climate change and reducing emissions. This government is not demonstrating that it values the will of Ontarians. In the last environmental consultation, fewer than 1% of respondents supported the cancellation of cap and trade. Read more
