Hi, Just a thought. There should not be any encroachment on private lands, public lands is where the CA should have the authority to do what is best for the enviroment or society as a whole. Other than that it looks to me that all the proposals are what they should be. Thanks

Science tells us that the watershed is the only appropriate scale at which to manage our rivers and floodplains. Conservation Authorities are already set up to manage flooding and erosion risk on a watershed scale. Read more

Conservation Authorities in Ontario have taken on powers that were never given to them in the first place. Their mandate was to protect public lands, infrastructure and water systems. They should not have any jurisdiction over private property and the rights of those property owners. Read more
