The Government of Ontario should respect municipalities' decisions regarding planning, especially regarding housing. The citizens should be able to decide how they are governed in the places where they live. Toronto in particular has unique problems and potentials.
Bill 108 should not be passed. After years of government review, the government voted to revise the OMB rules. Not that is going to be undone. Municipal council decisions and municipal official plans return to being given much less weight.
