I would like to voice my comment about Bill 108, especially on the proposal of having a LPAT. This is the same as OMB which is disbanded for a very good resson. I am strongly opposed bringing the process back. Read more

The current LPAT system was set up after months of public meetings and consultations with many experts. It is meant to balance the needs of developers and the needs of communities. Bill 108 reverses this democratic process, and is less ‘for the people’ and more ‘for the developers’. Read more

These sweeping changes to the Planning Act do not appear to reflect good planning principles, but rather serve to benefit developers only. As a professional planner I am very concerned at the government's disregard for the impact of these changes. Read more
