I must say that the lack of consultation for these revisions in Bill 108 is disturbing. When the Ministry of Culture developed rfevisions to the Ontario Heritage Act (OHA) in 2005, great care was given to make the process inclusive of all interests and it took many months. Read more

Each local municipality should have the decision over what sites are deemed worthy of heritage consideration. They alone know a site's value to the culture and form of a community. The decision should lie with them alone!
