Would love to be able to use the HOV lane on my motorcycle as I find it to be the safest lane option on the highway as there aren't as many people changing into/out of the lane.
I think it is a smart idea to allow motorcycles in HOV lanes as it will decrease congestion, provide a safety zone for motorcyclists away from the bulk of the vehicles. And it also takes into account that motorcycles are a more environmentally sound method of transport rather than cars.

This is a very good proposal, that will help reduce traffic congestion, and fix some of the problems that shouldn't have been made in the first place.
Motorcycles rarely if ever hold up traffic, they are fast, and they accelerated quickly.
It will not affect people in the HOV lane.

I’ve been riding for a while and using the HOV or 407 would be so much safer then in the regular lanes. But you have to police the people cutting into the HOV through the solid lines without signaling. They should not cross the solid lines to begin with.

This is great news! I am glad that Ontario is catching up with most other jurisdictions that already include motorcycles as allowed to use HOV/HOT lanes.

I think having motorcycle using the HOV line makes it safer for motorcycle in bumper to bumper traffic and also motorcycle are better for the environment less pollution
I think this is a great idea. It would be safer for the riders while on the highway. Especially during traffic where a motorcycle (who usually commutes solo) is in traffic and can be easily pinned between cars.
I highly recommend that this regulation is amended to allow single occupant motorcycles to use the lanes.
It makes the 400 level highways with the HOV lanes safer for motorcyclist reducing the probability of collisions due to lane changes by unsuspecting motorists.

Allowing motorcycles to use the HOV lanes is a great improvement for our use of the highways. Motorcycles are environmentally friendly the take up less space, do little to no damage to the infrastructure. They should have special considerations for using the highways.

As a motorcyclist (for over 50 years) and a taxpayer I request this BILL be quickly passed.
Frankly I am very annoyed to be stuck, stopped in a rain, in a traffic jam while HVO scoff-laws go flying by alone, knowing they have little chance of seeing any enforcement or a ticket.

This would make the hyway so much safe for people riding motorcycles and the people in cars at the same time. They would see them better in the left track and the motorcyclist would feel safer on the hyway. As it dangerous on the 400 series hyway. Higher risk for motorcycle accidents.
