I applaud the move to keep harmful products out of the landfill, reduce waste in all possible ways and encourage consumers to choose long lasting, quality products. However, as written, the proposed regulations for batteries appear contrary to this mandate. Read more

After reviewing the draft regulation it is apparent that there needs to be more detail regarding how collection event requirements are determined. As it is currently written, there seem to be the possibility of 4 hour collection events completely replacing depot based collection in certain areas. Read more
