These changes are short-sighted. Pollinators are important to crop stability and food security. Neonics are highly toxic to bees and other beneficial organisms. The proposed changes stand to allow neonics to impact these pollinator species. Please do not backtrack on our current regulations.

Pesticides, neonicotinoids and others, are known to cause serious harm to both wild and domestic insects, and have been pointed as one of the main drivers of pollinator collapse. This in turn is damaging birds and other wildlife. Read more

This proposal is removing important work and regulation that had been done to limit exposure and use of pesticides. This is dangerous and would lead to an increased use of these chemicals. It is very important that many of these amendments not be approved. Read more
