As a citizen of Canada residing in Ontario, I am extremely concerned about how our wild spaces and forests are being “managed”. I urge you to recognize the importance of LONGTERM planning that will allow our province to flourish, both naturally and economically, for centuries to come. Read more

The system really is not broke they way it is, the forestry needs to respect anyone that has an interest in the lands or owns land. They mess up our livelihood we could mess up there's, we have to respect each other, respect our lands, our future our lives. Read more

The four pillars of the current Ontario Government’s ‘Forest Strategy’ is heavily supportive of the industrial logging industry, but makes absolutely no mention of its responsibility to protect forest ecosystems and wildlife habitats. Read more

Seems like a whole lotta words for not really saying anything. I’m a forestry worker in Ontario. Was passed this by my employer. Had a read and extremely underwhelmed. Looks like a lot of words with no real explanation of how it is going to be better. Read more
