We must have our municipal water resources protected from big companies like Nestle's taking our limited water. This water is non replenishable. Ontario needs to preserve what little fresh water we still have as our cities and towns are expanding. Read more

I am completely against ANY business/corporation/company taking water from my local aquifer and selling it to other places in the world. I encourage local politicians to stand up for the protection of our groundwater because what Nestle and Ice River Springs are trying to do is wrong. Read more

Small plastic bottles of water sold for high prices are ecologically unacceptable. Tanker trucks moving MINED water for bottling, tear up the roads, costing municipalities maintenance. Water is our most precious commodity and should never be privatized and sold for profit.

Registry number 019-1340 As a member of a community directly affected by mass water-taking, it is extremely important to me and my family that municipalities have a voice in the decisions made regarding water takings from our water supply, especially for-profit bottled water companies. Read more

I support your proposal that allows municipalities to have input in whether a water bottling company is important to the community or not, that there must be priorities for our water supply, the findings of any research, proposals, etc. must be transparent and made open to the public. Read more
