The exploratory mining of Wolf Lake should not be allowed to proceed. When is enough enough? At some point we have to see that the true wealth and treasure is the forests which are being decimated to reach what is under neath.
Please don't allow any exploration at Wolf Lake and surrounding area. It is a reserve, please protect our natural wonders. I know that we in Ontario must show progress and we can be self-sufficient and independent from outside sources. But to hurt our natural wonders would be a crying shame.

I am opposed to the mining exploration slated for Wolf Lake. The loss of biodiversity and the old growth forests, surface contaminants and other detrimental effects to the ecosystem, in my opinion do not outweigh the positives for mining this area.

No mining exploration in this region should be allowed. Not now, not ever. This is a small pocket of protected ecosystem in a landscape of stolen lands and poisoned waters from previous development. There is no possible way to fully mitigate the risks of mining development.

Hello, I believe that the old growth forests around Wolf Lake shouldn't be disturbed in any way. Allowing mining activities in the area not only affects the environment in the old growth forest, but in all the connected waterways in the area and a much larger area because of this.

Ontario has an abundance of mineral resources and it is irresponsible to approve mining operations in one of the few remaining natural wilderness areas enjoyed by so many outdoor enthusiasts!
We need to protect this old growth forest and the waterways. Mining will be detrimental to the environment and this is some of the only old growth left in Ontario!

Old growth forest and Wolf Lake alone. Mining and drilling have devastated so much of our natural landscape in Canada. Anyone who has spent time in Temagami would be opposed to this atrocity!
Please do not go forward with this proposal. The negative environmental impacts would include destroying and permanently defacing a truly incredible lake and it’s ecosystem for all future generations.
It would be a moral shame to allow the mining for minerals in a spiritual and protected forest. It had been protected for 21 years for good reason.

As the largest known old growth red pine forest, Wolf Lake absolutely MUST be protected from destructive mining/exploration sites. This is a delicate eco-system with a lot of history, it would be incredibly irresponsible to continue with the proposed mining plans.

Wolf Lake is an integral part of the Chiniguchi Waterway. Canoers and campers from the Sudbury region, including many of the High schools in the region, use this area for outdoor education.

Please do not approve this application. The old growth forests are irreplacable - once it's gone, it's gone. And your grandchildren will only understand cement and cultivated woods. Not nature.
