In order to actually preserve the Greenbelt this also means not developing additional 400 series highways like 413 and the Holland Marsh Bypass. True support for the Greenbelt will require no new highway corridors and added securities for at risk areas. Read more

Please put green space and the environment before commercial interests. There is no viable way to expand so dramatically in a sustainable way because you are continuing to destroy wetlands and farmland. We don’t need more malls and highways. Read more

What about preserving the green space and carolinian forest further south along the North side of lake erie? Protect what's left of the Onondaga Escarpment a very sensitive watershed as well the 1st land that migratory birds reach when flying over Lake Erie. Read more

Such good news about the Ontario Government supporting the Green economy. However, it seems that it is a case of giving with one hand and taking from the other with the news that the PC Government is plaanning a highway north of the 407 that will eliminate farms and muuch of the Green Belt.
