I am quite concerned about these proposed changes. Wetlands are tremendously important environmental features, and tremendously vulnerable ones to boot. They provide flood mitigation, carbon storage, water filtration and are home to large amounts of unique species.

Cheap, shoddy housing that with flood. Built on essential land that everyone needs.
Why does the government so badly want us to fail as a province?
Rather than making over a million garbage houses constructed from Kleenex, fix our actual crappy pre-existing communities.
Please reconsider this proposal, we need more protection of wetlands not less! There are other lands that can be utilized for much-needed housing without causing further environmental destruction
