I strongly support the goal of addressing the housing crisis but I strongly oppose many of the provisions of Bill 23. If Bill 23 is passed in its current form I will work hard to ensure the Conservative party is punished at the ballot box.

This is a truly terrible idea. We are in the midst of a climate crisis that may well cost the next generation any idea of an enjoyable or secure future. Wetlands and Greenbelts MUST be maintained and added to, NOT bulldozed for housing. Read more

Please listen to conservation authorities, NGOs and experts. Ontarians love nature and wants it protected. These rules will only aid unsustainable sprawl when so much can be done to create sustainable housing in a way that still protects forests, wetlands and farmland. Read more

Bad! This Bill makes our already depleting wetlands more at risk! This bill means we no longer have to account for species at risk in wetland evaluation - they are at risk! it is important to include them when considering what to destroy!
