This Ontario Government swore it would not touch the Greenbelt. Premiere Ford said he "listen to the people and wouldn't touch it"... The proposed changes will have no significant impact on affordable housing in Ontario and will not even begin to cover the growing concerns of Families living here. Read more

I have been a public servant for 17 years and I have never witnessed such poor decision-making by a government as that of Bill 23. The Green belt is an environmentally protected area for a reason. It is where our water comes from. How is that being overlooked. This land is not for development. The fact that developers own it is because they know this is what the PC we’re going to do. Read more

I would highly encourage the Government not to continue with removing areas of the Greenbelt as part of this plan. The Greenbelt was created to protect and preserve the high quality farm land and ecological systems that surround and support the GTA. Read more
