We are proposing enhancements to the points-based moose tag allocation process to get more tags into the hands of hunters who want them. The proposed changes would encourage hunters to apply only for tags they intend to claim and make available certain unclaimed and unawarded tags.
We are proposing an electricity energy efficiency framework to launch in 2025that would support affordability, optimize delivery and launch new programs to provide more customer choice and savings and to help address Ontario’s growing electricity needs.
After receiving feedback from Indigenous communities and further analysis, we decided not to proceed with the proposed amendment to O. Reg 328/03 and pursued an alternative approach.
We have made a decision to amend the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act, 1997, (FWCA) and associated regulations, to allow for the issuance of licences of new dog train and trial areas through a one-time application period and to allow for the transfer of licences.

The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing is seeking feedback on a proposal to revoke the Parkway Belt West Plan, 1978, under the Ontario Planning and Development Act, 1994.
Ontario has changed restrictions on the transfer and storage of winter-grade gasoline prior to the winter switchover date by amending O. Reg. 271/91 (Gasoline Volatility). We have also added clarifications about acceptable gasoline testing methods.

We are proposing amendments to O.Reg. 208/19 and O.Reg. 172/03 that would allow Metrolinx and other transit authorities to make changes to municipal sewage or water distribution works that are part of transit projects more easily. This would help deliver critical transportation infrastructure faster while maintaining environmental safeguards.

The government is proposing a regulation under s.70.3.1 of the Planning Act that would authorize landowners to stipulate pay-on-demand surety bonds to be used to secure municipal obligations that are conditions of land-use planning approvals. A wider acceptance of pay-on-demand surety bonds may help homebuilders to free up funds for housing project
We decided to implement regulations to prescribe conditions to fast-track approval of small pipeline projects estimated to cost between $2 and $10 million, where the OEB is satisfied that the Crown has discharged its Duty to Consult (DTC), where triggered.
We amended the Ontario Energy Board Act, 1998, to provide government with authority to make regulations, and decided to implement those regulations, to streamline and modernize leave-to-construct approvals for certain pipeline relocation or reconstruction projects to facilitate key government commitments to build transit and housing faster.
