The ministry has issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval (industrial sewage) to Lafarge Canada Inc., for the establishment of sewage works, in support of a proposed McGill Pit (Bennett Road Pit) industrial wastewater development.

We have issued a Permit to Take Water No. P-300-1189960355 on January 13, 2023, which cancels and replaces Permit No. 6364-BHHK8H, for CRH Canada Group Inc. for aggregate washing purposes. The permitted water taking will serve the Dufferin Aggregates Henning Pit in the Township of North Dumfries, Ontario. The new permit expires December 31, 2023

Approval of works for the stormwater management of run-off from a 8.955 ha industrial land with expansion of plant building facility, to enhanced (level 1) level of water quality and quantity control of post development 5 and 100-year flows to pre-development levels, consisting of Conveyance, surface ponding and wetpond for quality control.
