Pursuant to section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent for a lot addition and an access easement was granted on January 21, 2025, subject to conditions.

This was an amendment to (ECA) 9530-873RPF for Brendar Environmental Recycling Inc. The amendment was to allow the site to receive, process, and transfer household hazardous, industrial hazardous, liquid industrial and non-hazardous industrial wastes in additional to the management of wastes already permitted under this approval.

The applicant had not provided the additional information required by the deadline imposed, as a result the file has been closed.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-21-000269R to Epica Gold Inc. for early exploration activities.

The decision is to issue the mineral exploration permit.

Permit to Take Water No. P-300-1306194478 was issued to Alamos Gold Inc. on December 13, 2024 to amend Permit to Take Water No. Alamos Gold Inc. for mining purposes. Water will be taken from two wells at the Island Gold Mine site, located in Dubreuilville, Ontario for 3 years.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-24-000208 to ONGold Resources Ltd. for early exploration activities.

The decision is to issue the mineral exploration permit.

We have issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) for Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities Inc. for a replacement subsurface disposal sewage works, servicing the seasonal campground Bailey’s Bay Resort, located at 78 Lindsay Road, Township of Selwyn, Ontario.

We have issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval for 7475 McLean Road East Inc. for sewage works serving two new warehouse buildings located at 7475 McLean Road East in the Township of Puslinch, Ontario.

The proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval for stormwater management works serving Broccolini Thornton GP Inc., located at 1600 Thornton Road North in the City of Oshawa, Ontario.

The stormwater management works comprise of Stormwater Quality Control, Quantity Control, and Erosion Control works, and include on-site storm sewers.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval was granted to Spring Valley Gardens (Niagara) Inc. for existing stormwater management works serving existing 3.2 hectares of greenhouse site including two greenhouses, administrative buildings, and parking lot, located at 1330 Fifth Street, in the City of St. Catharines.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval was granted to Spring Valley Gardens (Niagara) Inc. for existing stormwater management works serving existing 7.6 hectares of greenhouse site including two greenhouses, one warehouse building, parking lot and driveway, located at 1846 7th Street in the City of St. Catharines.

Owens Corning Insulating Systems Canada GP Inc. requested to withdraw their application for an Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise). The application is considered withdrawn and no approval was issued.

An Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) the Limited Operational Flexibility has been granted to H.P. Polymers ULC, a manufacturer of industrial coatings and lithographic ink located at 32 Kerr Crescent, Puslinch, Ontario.
