Water will be taken from one well and two ponds for industrial and dewatering purposes at 4999 County Road 46 located in the Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen, Ontario, 10 years.

Permit to Take Water No. 1452-DDBJ9N has been issued to Ellisdon Civil Ltd. renewing Permit to Take Water No. 4520-C7HK8D for industrial purposes. Water will be taken from one lake and one watercourse, related to industrial activities, located in the City of Toronto, Ontario for 21 months.

The Permit to Take Water No.P-300-5300010195 was issued to Miller Paving Limited on February 26, 2025, to renew PTTW No. 02087-9MJPKQ. Water will be taken from Black Bay Creek for dust suppression and aggregate washing purposes at the Turcotte Pit, located in Petawawa, Ontario for 10 years.

Permit to Take Water Number No. 3386-DD5PTQ has been issued to The Mississauga Golf and Country Club renewing Permit to Take Water No. 0245-9SYNFS for golf course irrigation purposes. Water will be taken from one watercourse in the City of Mississauga, Regional Municipality of Peel, Ontario.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-24-000211 to Sienna Resources Inc. for early exploration activities.

The decision is to issue the mineral exploration permit.

A decision was made on January 27, 2025, to approve the City of Toronto Official Plan Amendment 742, as adopted by By-law 862-2024 without modification. Official Plan Amendment 742 proposes two redesignations for portions of the sites located as 670 and 680 Caledonia Road and 2155 St. Clair Avenue West.

The Permit to Take Water No. P-300-6291222423 was issued to Thomas Spence, Anne Spence on January 23, 2025, for the renewal of PTTW No. 5064-9R6LK6. Water will be taken from one lake and one well for golf course irrigation and water supply purposes at the Sheffield Greens Golf Club, located at 193 Mill Line Road in Trent Lake, Ontario.

Application 60-C-246569, to create a new 1.56 hectare waterfront lot to be used for resource-based recreational use, was approved as redlined by the Ministry, subject to conditions. Related applications 60-C-232065 (ERO 019-9227) and 60-C-246449 (ERO 019-9248) were also approved subject to conditions.

The ministry has amended the Building Code to allow the Director of the Building and Development Branch to exempt certain qualified individuals who are qualified in Manitoba from having to take building code exams in Ontario.

Approval is granted to amend the waste disposal site approval to receive, process and transfer Blue Box recyclable materials.

We issued a Minister’s Directive to the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) requiring them to implement a 12-year electricity conservation and demand-side management (eDSM) Framework starting January 1, 2025, which includes a budget of up to $10.9 billion for the IESO to deliver a portfolio of electricity energy efficiency (EE) programs.

On December 20, 2024, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing revoked Ontario Regulation (O. Reg.) 337/22. The Ministry of Infrastructure requested that the Minister consider revoking the regulation.
