We have issued an amended Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air & noise) to Nuco Sealants Inc., a silicone and latex sealant manufacturing facility located at 150 Curtis Drive in Guelph, Ontario.

Ontario Parks has amended the Devil’s Glen Provincial Park Management Plan and has added 18 hectares (ha) of acquired land to the park. The approved management plan will protect nature and biodiversity, while also allowing for ecologically sustainable outdoor recreation to occur.

On March 4, 2026, the Director issued an order under the Environmental Protection Act for the purpose of requiring the removal of waste stockpiled at 2026 Campbell Avenue, Cavan-Monaghan, and to assess whether the waste is causing any adverse effects on any of the seven adjacent neighboring residential properties.

We have issued an Environmental Compliance Approval No. 8637-DL6J3S to North Glengarry BESS Inc. for the establishment of spill containment works and stormwater management works serving the proposed battery energy storage system (BESS) site located at 1454 Skye Road in North Glengarry, Ontario.

The Permit to Take Water No. 1733-DPMQ6H was issued to Seguin Valley Golf Club Inc. on December 30, 2025, to renew the Permit No. 8078-A4ELQN. Water will be taken from one lake for commercial golf course irrigation purposes, located in Seguin, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. 8117-DNKQBX has been issued to Cavanagh Concrete Ltd., for industrial manufacturing purposes. Water will be taken from two wells in Ottawa, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. 7313-DNYS4Q has been issued to Roseburg Forest Products Canada Ltd., for water supply and industrial-manufacturing purposes. Water will be taken from one well and one watercourse in Pembroke, Ontario.

The ministry renewed an Environmental Compliance Approval (waste site) for a hauled sewage disposal site as described in this notice.

Permit to Take Water No. 4547-DNQLYR was issued on November 25, 2025, to renew Permit to Take Water No. 2310-DJTRA9 for the purpose of golf course irrigation. Water will be taken from the Otonabee River, for 10 years.

A decision was made on November 18, 2025 to approve Official Plan Amendment 62 to the City of Kitchener Official Plan, as adopted by By-law 2025-048. Official Plan Amendment 62 implements Strategic Growth Area land use planning framework for three Protected Major Transit Stations: Block Line, Fairway, and Sportsworld.

On October 31, 2025, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Minister's Zoning Order with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation (O. Reg.) 246/25 in the City of Toronto. 

Costco Wholesale Canada Ltd. requested to withdraw their application for an Environmental Compliance Approval. The application is considered withdrawn, and no approval was issued.

A new regulation has been made under the Environmental Assessment Act (EAA) that sets out requirements Hydro One Networks Inc. (Hydro One) will need to undertake to proceed with the Northeast Power Line Project (Project) and for the EAA not to apply to the Project. Hydro One is collaborating with a consortium of First Nations partners.
