On August 29, 2025, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Minister's Zoning Order (with conditions) with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation (O. Reg.) 205/25 in the City of Markham. The Minister of Long-term Care requested that the Minister consider making the Zoning Order, which was supported by Markham's Mayor.

A decision was made on April 14, 2026, to approve Amendment No. 46 to the City of Ottawa Official Plan adopted by By-law 2025-294, subject to 17 modifications. The approved amendment updates the official plan policies to be consistent with the Provincial Planning Statement (PPS) 2024.

Permit to Take Water No. 3305-DQRJPL was issued to Suncor Energy Inc. operating as Suncor Energy Products Partnership on February 12, 2026, to renew Permit to Take Water No. 8233-AKULE6 for groundwater remediation purposes. Water will be taken from Multiple Well Points in the City of Sarnia, County of Lambton, Ontario for 10 years.

Permit to Take Water No. 6307-DQZPSP was issued to DBS-Hearn Inc. operating as Sutton Creek Golf Club on February 6, 2026, to renew Permit to Take Water No. 1272-DFZL6W for golf course irrigation purposes. Water will be taken from one well and one pond in the Town of Essex, County of Essex, Ontario for 10 years.

Approval is granted to operate a Waste Disposal Site – Transfer and Processing facility at 18 Wheeler Drive, in Bolton Ontario.

A new regulation was made to limit the exemption for university undertakings under the Planning Act to ensure continued application of Minister’s zoning orders and air ambulance service protection corridors.

Certificate of Property Use No. 1472-DKXFCA for 130 Elizabeth Street, Toronto, Ontario, was issued to owners as part of their development plans for the site.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-25-000182 to Great Bear Resources Ltd. for early exploration activities.
