This proposal is very concerning. As a resident of Durham region I am appalled to hear that you want to remove the planning policy and approval responsibilities from my municipality. It seems that this government is erasing all the hard work citizens, planners and municipal governments have been working on over the past few years, for example Envision Durham.
Bill 23 and this proposed planning Act does not seem very democratic to me. Shame!!
