I strongly feel that we need to do our part to limit greenhouse gas emissions. It doesn't matter what form this takes, as long as we get results. I believe a carbon tax is a good idea because it will incentivize people and companies to reduce their emissions. Read more

I want Ontario to put a price on pollution, making polluters pay for their emissions and returning the revenues to the pockets of Ontarians so they can lower their carbon footprint. I also want Ontario to stop paying subsidies in any form for fossil fuel and nuclear powered energy production.

This legislation to end current practices, without another viable place to replace is a step backwards and incredibly short sighted. We need A real climate change plan to reduce emissions, to help people save money by saving energy and to create jobs in the $26 trillion clean economy. Read more

I cannot believe that you are scrapping all the work that has been done, plans to save our climate and our children's future, and therefore create massive cost increases later when we have to reinstate climate change strategies. Totally unacceptable. Read more

I want a real climate change plan to reduce emissions, help people save energy and create jobs in the $26 trillion clean economy. It is critical to protect our environment for generations to come. Don't use the dedicated money in the climate account toward expenses to cancel this effort.

I am always surprised that governments do not realize the importance of environment and the eco-system to our economy and standard of living. We do not live in a bubble. And if people want to have a full enjoyment of life, they need a healthy, strong environment. This seems fairly self evident. Read more
