I completely oppose this initiative by the new Ford government. Ontario needs a serious climate plan. The Cap and Trade option may not have been perfect, but it was a significant step in the right direction. This is an urgent issue that the government failing to address.

I want legally binding emissions targets in line with our obligations to the Paris Climate Agreement. I want Ontario to be 100% powered by clean energy by 2050. I want Ontario to end subsidies and handouts for fossil fuel companies and redirect this money to clean energy solutions. Read more

I truly believe what our Premiere Mr. Doug Ford's approach in regards climate change and ending of our province's green energy programs is a move backwards. As one of the leading countries in the world we should be moving forward and not vice versa. Read more

I am very disappointed that our provincial government has chosen to move backwards instead of forwards in developing strategies to meet the challenges of climate change. I feel that the money you think you are saving Ontarians, we will be paying many times over in remediation. Read more

Ontario should but taking a leadership role in converting to clean energy. Goals need to be set for the near future that will bring us to completely renewable energy. Creating conflict with the federal government is one thing, but seriously, don't you care about climate change effects? Read more
