I support the White Pines Project because it would generate clean, renewable energy. As it generates power it will not create radioactive waste and it will not create greenhouse gas emissions to heat up the atmosphere

If you have to get rid of a project, that’s almost finished I would hope the same care is used as when it was built in the first place. But really, what’s the point in taking them down when they are already built. Read more

It seems like Ford is a mini Trump … destroying any and all his predecessor tried to do without studying the impact of his actions. He needs to stop and take time to consider what impact the reversal will have on the environment and on the taxpayers’ pocketbooks

If you take a look at the climate report issued in the US you can see renewable will become more important very shortly. Ontario will look foolish to the world, we will lose all the cash we have already put into it and the turtles and birds will be disrupted … again.

This act would kill opportunities for the future green energy investment, further pit the climate at risk and cost the Ontario taxpayer millions spent destroying a nearly completed project. It makes no sense what-so-ever to terminate the White Pines Wind Project.

This is horrible for the environment and kills yet another opportunity for the growth of a viable renewable energy business plan. It’s ludicrous to reverse such a project causing millions to taxpayers.
