I am not in support of making it any easier for lands to be developed in area that are classified to be habitat for species at risk. We must do all that we can to protect species that are at risk of extinction. The planet is becoming less and less diverse in the name of economic development.

One of the issues with authorization processes is the question of who qualifies as eligible for receiving an authorization and whether there are any social or economic barriers to individuals/groups who seek an authorization. Accessibility therefore is an issue that must be kept in mind.

We must do more to protect wildlife. Governments across the globe using "business reasons" as an excuse to expand development has already resulted in countless species being wiped out. Effective legislation to protect at-risk species must place limits on industrial activity.
