Bill 66, Restoring Ontario’s Competitiveness Act, 2018 is a travesty. Unbelievable regression. It will do nothing but put children, workers and the environment in peril. It will not solve duplication issues. This can not, CAN NOT! be allowed to pass.
this act is not going to restore business in Ontario. this is a spite bill to undo things simply because the Liberals did them. the only thing these changes are going to do is hurt the people who live in this province more than this government already has.

Bill 66 is being quietly brought through when in actual fact, there should be a lot of discussion and consultation about it. Environmental law relaxation, toxic chemical relaxation, worker standards relaxation, day care standards relaxation- what is going on? We expect more from Ontario.

I'm beyond appalled. Everything being repealed was enacted for reasons which are still valid. Why is this so-called "Government for the People" so intent on destroying legislation which protects them?
I oppose legislation which permits bypassing of protected environmental areas, such as the Greenbelt and Oak Ridges Moraine.
Businesses which are insufficiently innovative to work around ecologically sensitive areas are not welcome here.
