This is animal cruelty and so barbaric. I do not support any changes in legislation that allow animals to be killed and victimized while being penned in. Animals innately know how to hunt and we don't need to trap innocent animals so they suffer a painful, horrible death.

I wish I could express the level of disgust I feel over this horrifically cruel proposal. There is no universe where any of this is ok. Don’t drag yourselves down to such a low level. I am horrified that any of this could even be considered in this day and age. Shut it all down. Read more

This is absolutely horrendous!! Animal cruelty. Confining a wild animal for training purposes should be illegal. Canadas laws do not protect these innocent lives. Inhumane and disgusting treatment.

No animal should be trapped and held to be used as bait for training hunting dogs. It is cruel and unnecessary, and feels like we are taking steps backwards. We already impede enough on these animals and their homes.

I am against the proposed permit for dog train areas. This practice may have harmful effects on wildlife being separated from their pack, herd or group and would prevent them from feeding themselves. Read more

The recommended changes to the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act will do nothing to address the very real needs of average Ontarians. It corrects no problem. All it is is sanctioned animal cruelty. Read more
