There should be no place in a civil and compassionate society for this type of barbaric activity. Trapping wildlife, penning it and encouraging dogs to chase them down and rip them apart is just another form of dog fighting. It is cruel.

I am writing to advise that I vehemently oppose this amendment. It is unnecessarily cruel and an antithesis to reason. Wildlife should never be taken from their natural environments and held captive by hunters. Read more

Why would it be allowed to have wild animals chased down by sporting dogs? Why are sporting dogs kept fenced in for most of their life? This is only about the kill! Give these animals a voice and not the human who want to do this for pleasure. It is inhumane!

This needs to stop. Animals hunt each other naturally, but to force wild animals into this practice, just for sport, is inhumane. We should be better than that by now. Period. End of sentence.

This is an immoral suggestion to submit innocent animals to suffer a torturous death. I find that, we are supposed to be a dignified society, and yet it is up for discussion to treat animals in an undignified manner, shows a disgusting side of humanity

I am appalled at this proposal. You cannot honestly care about humans when you allow this horrendous act to be committed to other living, feeling beings. It is sick and that is how serial killers get their start. Read more

I am opposed to ERO 019-3685, Proposal to allow the issuance of licenses for new dog train and trial areas and the transfer of licenses. Your own website indicates that "New train and trial areas were last approved to be established in 1997 and were intended to be phased-out over time." Read more
