Good thing need more pen to continue our sport. We use to run in wild but less place to do it is getting almost impossible. With pen you always have control of your dog's. No hyway no private property. Great .

There are limited places that provide safe areas for dogs (no atv, trucks, etc.). Training a new dog in a safe area ensures they will not be injured by carelessness. This is best for the safety of dogs who are used to hunt.

I support this! Living in rural Southwestern Ontario, I see coyote populations spiralling out of control. Discarding dead livestock is the main reason that the population is thriving and training dogs to hunt them is the only population control we have. Read more

As an undergrad land bird hunter, amateur trainer and recently a dog trial enthusiast, the idea of having more places to train and trial dogs is a necessity. Granting an opportunity for more areas to be licensed to do so would be a huge boon for the sport and to those who hunt and trial dogs. Read more

overdue issue that needs to be addressed. Hunting dogs are an important tradition in hunting and a valuable conservation tool. Hunting dogs require hundreds of hours of training to achieve their potential. This will help with accessibility and create economic benefits as well.

I have owned ; trained and used good field and hunting dogs over the last 64 years ! Goldens .. Labradors .. Hounds I find that many of our hunting dogs have now been reduced to the chesterfield or in the front of a fireplace as pets only ! Read more
