I do not support this proposal. Wetlands in southern Ontario are seriously threatened and deserve the highest level of protection. To ensure that wetlands are properly protected, a rigorous evaluation system must remain in place.

Ontario’s wetlands are vital ecosystems, homes to plants, insects, birds, and other animals. They prevent flooding, filter water, and mitigate against climate change. Developing them is short sighted and dangerous - the harm done to habitats will be irreparable and the consequences will be costly.
