There is no way that we should be sacrificing our Greenbelt for development. Sprawling suburban McMansions are not the solution to affordable housing. We need to work on in-fill, holding developers accountable for creating affordable units. This is NOT the way. Read more

Hello, The purpose of this bill is to funnel profit towards Doug Ford's developer friends and donors. The future environmental impact has been ignored for the sake of profit and greed. They will simply pass on the future environmental disasters and cost to the next generations. Read more

No, the Greenbelt should never be touched. The Ford’s government is trying to market the issue as a solution to the housing problem; however, this is just a land sale issue with lobbying parties having unprecedented access to the government and wanting to develop the land for profit.

Absolutely not. This is a terrible plan. We value the environment and turning this section greenbelt over for development would be a huge mistake. I deeply oppose greenbelt development. This land is supposed to be permanently protected. It’s development is unethical. Building would benefit real estate spectators, not the millions of Ontarians who need cost-effective housing. This environmental catastrophe cannot happen. Read more
