I am a resident in the GTA. I do not support bill 212 as the Provincial government does not need to be involved in bike lane decisions. This should be a municipal matter.
I also do not support a bill which tries to circumvent environmental assessments.

The only way to diminish gridlock is to charge tolls on overused highways and use the tolls to fund public transport. Otherwise, new highways will become as congested as existing ones.
